Bye bye Cariad
We had a fun little ceremony as we said goodbye to wonderful Cariad.
The Canadian flag had flown just below the Welsh flag and it had to be removed. Dave, as captain, had the duty. I struck up 'Oh Canada' and Marg chimed in so we well represented Canada as her flag was lowered.
The Welsh flag had to go back up. Just at that time a lady came along and said Hi to Howard (he's the welshman) and she was Welsh as well. So they started up the Welsh anthem as the flag was raised back to it's proper position.
It was all quite lovely and fun.
