Another day, another trip

We have been on the lookout for a camper to put on our 1 ton Ford. We have looked up and down the island and have not yet found the right one with the right stuff.

We went to Campbell River last Saturday and looked at a camper that has a slide in the eating area. It was quite nice but overpriced.

Today we drove south to Cowichan Valley and looked at several along the way.We saw one that was ten years old but looked brand new - I have the feeling it has sat on a lot for that long and never been used - it is utterly clean but has no bells or whistles (and we want those!).

We may have to journey afar in order to find one that suits us and is of a reasonable price. It seems like they are quite popular right now so the price is high and they leave some things to be desired.

I guess it's a journey of a thousand steps...and we have only taken 10.

I'm a firm believer in the right one being in the right place at the right time.
Poor husband, he stays in more of a place of panic that we might miss the right one!

So today's journey and looking continues.

  1. Maybe you should write up your specs for what you're looking for and I can keep an eye out while we're circling the province. :)
